Your Cool McCool fan fiction story may be the first one to appear here on DeviantArt, but I wrote several fan stories about our favorite bumbling secret agent back in the 80's. Since this was before PCs, they were just handwritten on paper, and unfortunately they got lost over time, but maybe someday I'll be able to sit down and write them over again.
As for Dick Tracy, I actually wrote a fanfic inspired by the animated series from the 60's, and posted it over on FanLib. You can see it here, if you're interested:

as for my "Cool McCool" fanfic, I sort of change Bob Kane's cartoon characters into my own, just for fun.
Beside every cartoon classics always gets a make-over, well only some who need a new looks and a brand new stories. The old Cool McCool is not that... well... you get the picture <
Anyway, do you like... The Pink Panther?
